Recently, when I scrolled down my FB walls for any update, I was stumbled upon some status regarding national politic issues in the country by some fellow FB friends. These fellow friends, some of them are students and some  already graduating their first degrees in Islamic studies. The moment I saw the status as usual I looked up the comments for the status. I am apolitical and do not really care to have a fight over petty political issues especially when dealing with multiparty politics. 

            It was a shock and I was disappointed at some of them who used rude language while commenting and arguing in the status comments. There was a fella who accused one party in state commit corrupt things and just accusing and provoking the other fella. The others came and starts everything. A fight in social media. Not everyone but some. Where is their concern about adab and akhlak when conversing with one another.  It just  made me upset and disappointed to see such expected one to be so well-educated  in fundamental Islamic studies to be such wild and ‘ruthless’ on internet. Now you see that heart problems, emotion, hasad doesn’t prefer anyone. Regardless what background you are, the chance to get ‘infested’ with such heart parasite is widely open unless you get prepared.

Actually I had wrote this notes last year. To be exact it was on 04 ‎Disember ‎2016 @ ‏‎13:01:38. Only now in this 2017 got chance & will to publish here. The tone of my writing perhaps quite emotional.  However, I'd got some point to put in here.

I Couldn’t Believe it !!!

I could not believe that I pass this test. Yes, it is real. I already pass the driving license test. Actually it is not something that pretty big enough to be mentioned right here. However, to be honest it is something that really means to me. What is so fascinating to me about passing this little test I think?

            Firstly, I only pass the test after taking a second test or retest. It sound that I am so bad at riding the bike. Oh yeah, I am forgot to mention that I passed the driving license test for Motorcycle B2 License only and not the car driving license yet. Of course it is a matter of money, money and money. If I have plenty more money at the time I am taking the license I could take both license – motorcycle and car- for sure but due to money problems and time I do not have the chance to take both license at the same time. To be honest it is not all about money, the time actually becomes the obstacle for me.

            Normally, for Malaysian students or youngsters they would take driving license test after taking the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), as they have a lot of time for taking all the courses and the test for the license. In Malaysia, the minimum age for teenager to take the driving license test for motorcycle is 16-year-old while for car driving license as I recall back is 18-year-old. That is why the students tend to take the driving test just after they have finished the SPM examination.

            In contrary to that, I took the test quite late as I have entered the university. Sometimes, when think about it I felt quite regret as it is such a loss to me as I have no license I became a little bit immobile. The situation is just like a person who has been in paralysed and do not able to move a lot. For university student, it is important for them to have transport in order to look for information and preparing the assignment for their courses. Transport is one thing, the license for driving those transports is quite important too. How can we drive a car or ride a bike without having the license unless we want to get ticket from police.

            Back to my driving license test story, at first test actually I did perform well for all sections of the test. Undoubtedly, no one would ever think that they are doing very well in their test or whatsoever. After waiting for more than an hour nervously as I was afraid that I did not pass the test I lastly got my test result. The test result slip was given by calling the candidate’s name one by one and lastly the longest waiting ended and it was really disappointed as the slip clearly stated that I failed. Full stop and no more begging for reviewing back your result. The result is final. I need to fill the form for retest.

            What is the most memorable and quite funny one is the reason for I failed in the test was I did not neatly tie up the helmet. I repeat it just about the helmet that was not neatly tie up. I did tie the helmet but just the end of the helmet belt which was not perfectly slip inside the helmet. The end of helmet belt was freely dangling under my helmet. While for the second test, thanks god that I passed but I did several mistakes. At the beginning of the test for the second part which is test on the road.

            For my turn, I got the bike from someone who already done the test and the bike is still on. So I needed to switch off the bike and for that I needed to free the gear first but I did not. That was the big mistake actually as when I tried to start the engine back the bike was likely to jump off the road. Carefully I covered up so that the examiner did not realize it. Unfortunately, as I quite shocked of what had happened I became more nervous than usual. I did more mistakes. At last when I got the result, I passed the test for sure. I could not believe it. After did several mistakes I still can pass the test. Maybe the examiner became more open and not too strict as usual as they aware that we took the test for second time.

Have You Ever Think About What You Have Done

That is one of the questions which come to me sometimes. Emmm, is that so important to us to think about what we did or what we are going to do? Have you ever think about this question. If yes, I am glad that you may be one of persons who are going to be succeeding in life. The answer to the first question is yes, it is so important for us to think about what we have done in our lives. For me, one of the secrets to succeed in life is to look back on whatever we did. To make it easier for us in understanding about what I am saying here, it is better for me to show us an example. Let see a student in school. Okay, as a student who is trying so hard and so ambitious to get the highest mark or result in examination needs to check how many exercises he/she has done. If they do not get the target which they have set before, they should check back is that their way of learning and revision they made are good enough to reach the target? If not they must improve it later for the next examination. It is same in the situation of an adult in their career. You also need to look back on what have you made for your work. Have you plan a good strategy for your marketing in business? Is that your product can fulfil the clients’ needs. All of these examples show us the important of asking yourself on what you have done to improve us in whatever we do now. Therefore, let us ask this question to ourselves during this ending of the year 2009 to improve our lives.

            I believe that a lot of us will make a new target for the new year which is around the corner. No doubt that it is good to make a target to achieve in the next year. However, once again I ask this question; have you ever think about what you have done before. You already made a wish or target at the same time in the last year just before the new year. Have you get the target you did before in this year? If the answer is yes, be my guest to make another one. If not, take a wee bit of time to think first about your effort in this year. Do you really give the best effort as you can? Thus, in order to make a new target for the next year, you need to check up your achievements in this year. Afterward, you find a solution to the problem in achieving your target for this year and plan a new strategy to achieve it in the next year. That is what I think is good for me and all of us to succeed in our lives.  

            Furthermore, ask yourself anytime you fail in doing something. What I have done? Do you really use all of your time to get what you dream for. No end of people make a wish without really work for it. Then, it ends up in failing in getting what you wish for. It is quite easy for us to make a wish or target to achieve for each year but it is not so easy to realize it. I also have been like this and was not excluded from this. However something should be done to change this situation. First, I think it is better for us to prepare ourselves to have strong spirit and keen to succeed. Thus, if you face any challenge in realize your wish or fail, you will not frustrated and become weak to work hard for it again. To get an invaluable success in life is not an easy task. It needs you to face many challenges and sometimes you might fail. To get a shiny bulb today was not easy. Thomas Edison had failed many times before he succeeded in inventing a bulb. So, what about us? Do we have to wait for miracle to happen in our lives then we can succeed? Certainly not and just be strong to wake up from failure. You have to struggle hard in your life. Do not simply give up. You still have chance to win in your life. Remember that people who succeed are the people who learn from their failure. Make a new strategy and let fight more. Only good plan makes you achieve your target.

Life is too fast

Assalamualaikum. Today, what I want to say here is our life if we look back, is too fast. As for me, I'm feels like my primary school life is just a several months ago but the fact that it doesn't. It seems that our life moving to fast and some more fact that we have to remember is we don't life longer. Thus, I need to use my precious time wisely.

However, to really use your time wisely is not easy task. Many people cannot do this. A lot of us still hanging around while they still have many works to do. How many time we spend for entertainment-watching television, surfing internet, play games and etc.-? I'm sure that about half or quarter of a day we spend for it. What we do to make our lives so precious. Moreover, as a Muslim, do we really concentrate on being a good Muslim-to worship our God, Allah The Almighty-? What have we done with our invaluable time given by the God.


Hope that all of us especially me can change. Now, we are in the end of the year. 2010 is just one and a half month to go. Don't wait too long to make an effort to change. "The God will never change people lives if they, themselves do not even make an effort to change"
